Featuring a series of research presentations and policy case studies, the conference will explore the causes and consequences of changing work, family, and caregiving trends in diverse regions and highlight social policies and programs that support the accommodation of work and caregiving roles to promote gender equity, economic stability, and family wellbeing.
We are calling for papers within the following broad themes:
l Employment, gender, & earnings inequality
l Job quality & flexible work arrangements
l Intersectional inequalities at work & home
l Fertility & family decision-making
l Child care, eldercare & income-support policies
Call for paper
Papers can focus on one local context/ region or be comparative in scope. To submit your paper, please provide a 300-500 word abstract of the paper to Mr. Gaston Wan of HKBU FASS (careandwork@hkbu.edu.hk) by 15 February 2025.
