Prof. Gao Meng’s Research Predicts Widespread Heat Stress in China Due to Humidity Trends

A research team led by Professor Gao Meng, Professor of the Department of Geography has conducted a study revealing that increasing humidity in northern China will result in widespread heat stress across the eastern part of the country by the end of the century. The findings, published in the international journal Nature Communications, emphasize the importance of humidity in determining heat stress.
