Research Mingle - Crossing Over with Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), in collaboration with the Research Office, successfully hosted the Research Mingle - Crossing Over with FASS on 28 November 2024 (Thursday). The event attracted over 80 participants, including academic staff and PhD students, fostering a dynamic environment for interdisciplinary collaboration.

Moderated by Prof. Daniel W.L. Lai, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the event featured engaging presentations by esteemed keynote speakers and sparked meaningful discussions on the importance of cross-disciplinary research. FASS speakers including Dr. Andrej Fech and Dr. Noriaki Hoshino from the Academy of Chinese, History, Religion and Philosophy, Dr. Shao Jing from the Academy of Language and Culture, Dr. Jiang Jin from the Academy of Geography, Sociology and International Studies, and Dr. Yu Rongjun from the Academy of Wellness and Human Development, also contributed to the insightful discussions.
